The PROTECT-EUROPE project coordinated ten masterclasses in HPV vaccination. These classes were focused on public health messaging and how to more effectively target young people, their parents and caregivers.
Each masterclass included case studies on successful delivery of HPV immunisation to a target population. They explored the most impactful communication strategies and the most creative ways to reach marginalised communities. These classes were structured to accommodate diverse learning preferences, whether face-to-face or more flexible online learning.

The first masterclass, which was held on the occasion of European Immunisation Week 2024, focused on the topic of epidemiology of HPV infection and why gender-neutral vaccination is key to achieve the elimination of HPV-caused cancers.

The second project masterclass was held on 23 May, 14:00 - 15:00 CEST. It explored the best settings for delivering HPV vaccination, including schools and pharmacies, learning lessons from experience gained in several EU countries.
The third project masterclass was held on 17 June 2024 from 14:00 to 15:00 CEST. Speakers shared tips and strategies for running effective vaccination campaigns both online and offline, reaching a broad audience, and supporting informed decision-making. A case study on Denmark's campaign to rebuild confidence in HPV vaccination was also presented.
The fourth project masterclass was held on 8 July 2024 and focused on single-dose HPV vaccination and the improved access to immunisation that this approach can bring to the table.
The fifth project masterclass was held on 25 July 2024 and covered the science behind the vaccine, addressed common myths and misconceptions, and presented real-world data on its impact.
The sixth and seventh project masterclasses were held on 10 October 2024, and were dedicated to effective communication with parents and young adults on HPV infection and vaccination, with each session approaching the topic from distinct, yet equally vital, perspectives.

The eight project masterclass was held on 29 October 2024 from 11:30 to 12:30 CET, about the overwhelming financial incentives for HPV vaccination.
Vaccination is a uniquely powerful tool for improving public health, but it can also reduce public expenditures – for cancer treatments, hospitalisations, and continuing care.
The ninth project masterclass was held during the project's Showcase Event in Brussels, on 22 November.

The tenth and final project masterclass was held on 27 November from 14:00 to 15:00 CET, and was dedicated to exploring the current inequalities in HPV vaccination practices, especially in relation to the more marginalised communities.
